Welcome to AussieStart ("Platform"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Platform.

AussieStart is owned and operated by AussieStart GbR, registered in Kiel, SH, Germany.

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

• "AussieStart", "we", "us" refers to AussieStart GbR
• "Platform" refers to the AussieStart website and services
• "User", "you" refers to any person using the Platform
• "Job Seeker" refers to users searching for employment
• "Provider" refers to employers and accommodation providers
• "Balance" refers to your account balance used for applications

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Registration Requirements

You must provide accurate information when registering. Required information includes:

• Full name
• Valid email address
• Strong password
• Nationality
• Government-issued ID for verification

3.2 ID Verification

All users must verify their identity by uploading a government-issued ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID). This ensures community safety and trust.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access

3.4 One Account Per Person

Each person may only have one account. Multiple accounts may result in suspension.

4. Services and Features

4.1 Platform Services

AussieStart provides:

• Job listings and application services
• Accommodation listings and inquiry services
• Community features for travelers
• User profiles and verification

4.2 Service Limitations

AussieStart does not guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access
• Job offers or accommodation bookings
• Accuracy of all listings
• Error-free operation

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

AussieStart offers three subscription tiers:

Providers (employers and accommodation hosts) can post listings for free after verification. No monthly fees apply to provider accounts.

5.3 Payment Terms

• All payments processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month
• Prices include applicable taxes
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription anytime. Upon cancellation:

• Access continues until period end
• No refund for unused portion
• Your balance remains available
• You can resubscribe anytime in the next 6 months without a membership

5.5 Refund Policy

• Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable
• Application fees are non-refundable
• Technical issues may warrant refunds at our discretion

6. Balance System

6.1 How Balance Works

Your account balance is used to pay for job applications and accommodation inquiries. This is separate from your monthly subscription fee.

6.2 Application Costs

Costs are based on your subscription tier:

• Membership: €1.00 per application
• Premium: €0.50 per application
• Exclusive: €0.25 per application

6.3 Top-Up Options

You can add funds in the following amounts:

• €5.00
• €10.00
• €20.00
• €50.00

6.4 Balance Terms

• Balance never expires
• Balance carries over month to month
• Balance is not refundable
• Sufficient balance required before applying
• Fees deducted automatically upon application

6.5 Account Termination

Upon account termination, any remaining balance is forfeited. We recommend using your balance before closing your account.

7. User Conduct

7.1 General Rules

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others
• Harass or abuse other users
• Post false or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent activities
• Interfere with Platform operations

7.2 Job Listings

Job listings must:

• Be accurate and truthful
• Not discriminate illegally
• Comply with employment laws
• Include relevant details

7.3 Accommodation Listings

Accommodation listings must:

• Accurately represent the property
• Include all relevant information
• Not engage in price gouging
• Comply with rental laws

7.4 Payment Outside Platform

Arranging payments outside the Platform to avoid fees is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

8. User Content

8.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant AussieStart a license to use, display, and distribute your content for providing our services.

8.2 Content Standards

All content must:

• Be accurate and honest
• Not infringe on others' rights
• Comply with these Terms
• Be appropriate and professional

8.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

9. Account Termination

9.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion:

• Your profile is deactivated
• Access to services ends
• Your balance is forfeited
• Subscriptions are cancelled

9.2 By AussieStart

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Providing false information
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended inactivity

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Disclaimer

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

10.2 Limitation

AUSSIESTART SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

10.3 Maximum Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past six months.

10.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AussieStart from any claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

11. Disputes and Governing Law

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

2. If unresolved, attempt mediation
3. Legal action in NSW courts if necessary

11.3 Time Limit

Any claims must be brought within one year of the cause of action.
